LOW-CODE, YO! Creatio, a low-code process management and CRM solution, has released an updated version of its platform that it says can “make everyone a developer.” The latest iteration of Creatio includes more than 500 updates (which we’re not even going to try to list here), but we will tell you that it includes new machine learning model configurations, a revamped UI, and makes it possible for users to import .bpmn processes and convert them to executable processes.
Why we care: Low-code. No-code. The martech community has been promised numerous low-code tools in recent years that “anybody” can use. But the truth is that even with a low-code solution, your martech team needs to understand the inner-workings of a process management or CRM tool to get the most value from it. If a person doesn’t know what it even means to convert “.bpmn processes to executable processes” a user-friendly UI isn’t going to help much.
TREASURE TROVE. Arm Treasure Data has rolled out new capabilities for its CDP solution, adding more customer journey orchestration tools, security features and admin functions. It also comes with 20 new integration options, making it possible to activate campaigns across more ad channels.
Why we care: Marketers who have implemented a CDP are ahead of the game when it comes to customer journey initiatives. And, as MOPs teams get more savvy with their CDP data, the platforms themselves are branching out and getting more creative in terms of the solutions they offer. Arm Treasure Data’s latest enhancements show it’s doing what it can to keep up with the industry — providing tools that enable more personalization and meeting their customer’s data privacy and security needs. Whether or not it’s the “best” platform all depends on what you need in a CDP and how you plan to use it.
