DigitasLBi drops LBi from its name
The digital agency made the move five years after the merger between it and LBi. It says that simplifying the name symbolizes that the company is unified.
Concurra provides SMBs with enterprise tool
The website optimization tool announced that it will extend its enterprise-grade platform directly to smaller businesses. The tool was previously only available to digital marketing agencies.
Tapjoy launches Interplay Studio
The mobile platform said that it can now design custom-branded ads that are optimized for the mobile gaming environment. The company says that campaigns designed by the studio have demonstrated above-average click-through rates.
Outbrain partners with MapR
The discovery platform announced that it will use the MapR Converged Data Platform as the foundation for its new content delivery platform. The move will allow Outbrain to leverage advanced algorithms to produce more sophisticated and targeted content.
True Influence releases lead acceleration platform
The lead solution company announced InsightBASE, a platform that sprang from a partnership with Dun & Bradstreet. The collaboration enables True Influence to access information from the world’s largest commercial database.
Braze announces tech integrations
The marketing automation platform formerly known as Appboy announced technical integrations with Microsoft Azure and Accuweather. The integration with Microsoft Azure will offer a new multicloud hosting option.
CreativeDrive acquires CGI tech startup
The content creation company announced that it has acquired Decora, a 3D visualization and augmented reality tech startup. The company says that Decora’s scalable platform enables “intelligent content” that is AR/VR ready.

Trish Sparks joins Demandbase as its first chief customer officer. Sparks was most recently the head of global customer success at LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions.
Denise Esakoff joins Medicx as SVP of account services, research and performance analytics. She led teams at endemic health sites including EveryDay Health and Quality Health. Alex DeSanctis joins as SVP of sales. He was previously at Time Inc.
LAKANA names Karen Brophy head of LAKANA and SVP of its subsidiary, Nexstar Digital. Most recently, Brophy served was SVP of strategy and operations at Hearst Newspapers.
Amagi names Deepakjit Singh as chief executive officer. Prior to joining Amagi, Deepakjit served as chief innovation officer at Encompass.
The Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) hires Nick Stringer as VP of global member engagement and operations. Stringer is a former director of regulatory affairs at the Internet Advertising Bureau UK (IAB UK) and former chair of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA).
Tremor Video DSP hires Jessica La Rosa as senior director of product marketing and sales strategy and Justin Chadwick as senior director of marketing. La Rosa returns to Tremor from Innovid. Chadwick was previously at Crossix Solutions.
Robert Slaughter joins dotCMS as chief marketing officer. Slaughter was previously principal at Ripple Effect Advisors in Washington, D.C., where he led the global marketing initiatives of several high-growth technology firms.
Sizmek appoints Nikos Acuña to new role of chief visionary. Acuña was previously the managing director of the Rocket Fuel Institute.
